Got a brand new job, and it's a full time job.
and frankly speaking, i know the road i'm taking now is getting tougher and my burdens are getting heavier.
My classmates have been advising me about this new job i got, i agreed with them, no doubt that i got the job with strings attached, well, in this industry you need contacts to help you.
They can accomodate my school time, and they said that it's alright, we will plan your schedule accordingly that won't affect your school time, in this way, you are able to work and study at the same time.
Now i'm officially not in restaurant anymore, they do not want me to be in restaurant anymore because my experience in restaurant is more than enough, but i'm still in F&B industry, but more to events already, they want me to learn more about events, like weddings, seminars and conferences, etc.
Well, cut short to say it's banquet department, yup, no doubt about it, i'm in banquet department, it's a good exposure for me, able to learn new things, etc.
Mr Simon said that i have to attend meetings, do the banquet event orders etc.
And oversee the operations when the ballroom is setting up etc.
He does not want to see me in service but in the supervisory level, overseeing the people who are setting up for the event etc.
So it's more to paper work plus whatever work.
I also don't know, and i'm going to work with my friend, Sally!
HAHA!
I saw her when i went for my fiiting for the uniform, the moment she saw me she shouted,"why are you here?!"
I said,"i've become your colleague already!same department with you!"
hehe!!!
She was so happy! haha!
well, i'm happy too that i'm able to work with her!
Oh ya, my uniform is pants with a blazer, inside in a white piece of cloth, well, i don't know should i say it's shirt or not a shirt?
LOL
Monday! New start with a new job!
And not only this, i actually found my baby-g watch! The metal watch i've been searching high and low for the past 1 year! I will see it as a good start!
YEAH IT IS!
Even though i know the road i'm taking now, it's getting tougher and the burdens are heavier, but i have to do it. I need to exceed the expectations that they had set for me.
I can't afford to make a mistake, whatever i'm not sure about it, i will open my mouth and ask, i won't keep quiet anymore, i guess this is the only way that i can be open up to others, before opening up to others, i have to open up my mouth.
Last but not the least, my new employer is Conrad Centennial Singapore.
A place where i will stay long and i yearn to be in.
Excutive F&B, he had told me already, whatever i need, just talk to him, sponsorship for studies etc, whatever it is, just talk to him what i need, if they are able to help, they will help me.
I'm deeply grateful to Papa Conrad, because he personally talked to the excutive to meet my needs, he want him to groom me and bring out the best in me.
That's what the excutive told me when he was interviewing me.
Now you know why i said, the road i'm taking now is getting tougher and burdens are heavier, because i can't fail them in anyway.
I'm going to do my best.
Now i'm going to be officially busy with work and studies.
